Born and raised in Queens, New York, Elan started playing tennis at nine years old. After high school, Elan was an NCAA Division 1 tennis player attending Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, NY and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. He's a certified USTA and Tenns Canada tennis coach, umpire, and lines judge. Elan is currently living in Mississauga, Ontario.
